About Dr. Shahira

Dr. Shahira Haidary is a chiropractor, healer, educator, and mother with a deep-rooted passion for holistic care. Born in Afghanistan and raised in Queens, New York, her journey into healing was shaped by her cultural heritage, experiences in community health, and the transformative path of motherhood.

With a background in biology, public health, and epidemiology, Dr. Haidary blends evidence-based chiropractic with intuitive, nervous system-centered care. Her approach integrates soft tissue work, energetic rebalancing, herbal medicine, and principles drawn from both ancestral and Indigenous healing traditions.

She specializes in treating headaches, hypermobility, TMJ dysfunction, women’s health, and general aches and pains—offering care that is as compassionate as it is comprehensive. At the core of her work is a belief in the body’s innate ability to heal and a commitment to helping people reconnect with their vitality, balance, and inner wisdom.

Mission

At The Flow Chiropractic, our mission is to restore the natural health of the nervous system and support the harmonious integration of mind, body, and spirit. Through holistic, nervous system-centered care, we guide our patients toward embodiment, vitality, and healing—empowering them to live authentically, radiantly, and in alignment with their fullest potential.

My Philosophy

I am a holistic and vitalistic chiropractor dedicated to restoring balance and vitality through the art, science, and philosophy of chiropractic care. At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence and its natural ability to heal when the nervous system is free of interference.

By using specific chiropractic adjustments, I help realign the spine, release tension, and rebalance the energy systems of the body—supporting physical relief while creating space for emotional and spiritual healing. My work is grounded in a chiropractic philosophy that honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.

I see each adjustment not just as a physical correction, but as an opportunity to release stored stress, dissolve outdated patterns, and invite a more vibrant expression of health. Complementing my chiropractic care, I draw from ancient Central Asian healing traditions passed down through my ancestry.

I incorporate the use of plants, herbs, and natural remedies, as well as intuitive energy work, to deepen and support the body’s healing process. These ancestral practices are woven into my work to help patients reconnect with the rhythms of nature and their own inner wisdom. Through this integrated approach, I guide my patients not only toward relief from pain, but toward a life of clarity, resilience, and embodied vitality. My mission is to help each individual cultivate lasting wellness, transform old stories, and align with a new, empowered vision of health.
